It is ideal for garden beds and patio pots and can also be used as a hedging plant. It can also be grown as an indoor plant in cooler climates. If growing outdoors, grow it in a partially shaded position in humus rich, well drained soil. If growing indoors, choose a brightly lit, warm spot that is free from draughts.
