ALCANTAREA SILVER PLUM

Alcantarea Silver Plum is a slow growing beautiful hybrid with excellent glossy rich purple leaf undersides with silver tops. It has an upright and outwardly arching growth habit. This stunning plant flowers just once before producing offsets with a large flower spike that is covered with hundreds of flowers that take over a year to all fully open. Best in full sun to part shade and a great feature plant for the garden or patio and also good in pots and containers. It can tolerate light frost once established and protect from strong winds. Low maintenance. Keep the central ‘tank’ filled with water at all times. Avoid heavy fertiliser. Alcantarea Silver Plum will grow to a height of 1.5m and a width of 1.5m
