Calamondin Cumquat x Citrofotunella microcarpa

Producing an abundance of small round orange fruit great for preserves, these hardy citrus make a great feature in a Mediterranean garden.Plant in full sun in well drained soil, shelter from strong wind. Fertilise in Spring and late Summer with a high nitrogen fertiliser. Prune to shape and to remove any rootstock growth.Container plant in courtyards or a feature shrub in Mediterranean style gardens. Fruit is inedible raw but excellent for preserves,brandies, liqueurs, marmalades and pickles.
