Chamaedorea elegans (Parlour Palm)

An elegant palm with tufts of upright slender branches growing from the base.

The dark green pinnate fronds create an elegant weeping habit and grow up to 60cm long.

Chamaedorea elegans produces tiny yellow flowers in panicles in spring, however these will not form in low light conditions.

An excellent indoor plant for almost any situation, (even those dark corners where nothing else will grow) requiring only minimal care and moderate light.

Can only be grown outdoors in warm climates.
