FIG SWEET TEMPTATION

Fig Sweet Temptation is a great alternative if you don't have the space for the traditional varieties of fig. This variety is one of the smallest growing in Australia currently. This is the ideal variety for home gardeners as it is suited to warmer tropics as well as cooler regions and its smaller size of course. Fig Sweet Temptation is a prolific bearer of the red to maroon coloured fruit and can have 2 crops in a year, 1 in summer and another in early winter. The early crop fruit are tear-drop in shape and later in the season they become more rounded in shape as they fill out. Fig Sweet Temptation are ideal for eating fresh; great in cooking, jams, cocktails, preserves, as part of deserts and cheese platters as well as on toast with ricotta and honey!
