ZAMIA FURFURACEA

Zamia furfuracea is a very popular cycad plant. With its long fronds from the central crown, which carries dark green leaflets, it makes a great addition to any tropical garden. It would be well suited to exposed conditions, coastal plantings or borders and is also ideal as an ornamental pot plants indoors. Prefers full sun positions and well drained soils. Benefits from moderate watering during the warmer seasons and being kept dry in the cooler months. No need for fertiliser if good mulch is used. Zamia furfuracea can grow up to 1m wide and 1m high.
