The Zygocactus, Schlumbergera truncata Samba are well known for their low maintenance qualities and flowering a gorgeous, creamy red and white tones in winter and autumn. A great, colourful addition to your patio, the Zygocactus will grow to 20cm high and 45cm wide and is best suited to pots/ hanging baskets which will help highlight it's beautiful, weeping foliage. They are drought tolerant but sensitive to frost and will grow best in well-drained soil. Liquid feed every 2nd month during the growing season. Zygocactus make the perfect gift and are great, rewarding plants for beginners.
